In this role, you will help shape the next generation of low-latency trading technology by designing and delivering real-time micro UI solutions that support pricing, risk management, and electronic trading across Fixed Income markets. As a technical leader, you'll influence architecture, mentor engineers, and contribute to the continued evolution of a modern engineering culture focused on quality, reliability, and continuous improvement.Learn more about career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.comIn this role, you will:Lead complex initiatives on selected domainsEnsure systems are monitored to increase operational efficiency and managed to mitigate riskDefine opportunities to maximize resource utilization and improve processes while reducing costLead, design, develop, test and implement applications and system components, tools and utilities, models, simulation, and analytics to manage complex business functions using sophisticated technologiesResolve coding, testing and escalated platform issues of a technically challenging natureLead team to ensure compliance and risk management requirements for supported area are met and work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiativesMentor less experienced software engineersCollaborate and influence all levels of professionals including managersLead team to achieve objectivesPartner with production support and platform engineering teams effectivelyRequired Qualifications:5+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education5+ years of experience with HTML5, JavaScript, CSS5+ years of experience with Typescript5+ years of experience with Angular/React5+ years of experience with JSON, REST, XMLDesired Qualifications:Experience deploying and supporting applications using web server technologies such as Apache Tomcat, IIS, or NGINXExperience with automated UI testing and performance testing practices using tools such as Selenium and browser developer toolsKnowledge of Fixed Income products and trading workflows within capital marketsUnderstanding of bond pricing, risk, P&L, and position management conceptsUnderstanding of trade lifecycle processes and end-of-day valuation activitiesExperience building and supporting real-time user interfaces using streaming or event-driven technologiesExperience with desktop interoperability and container frameworks such as OpenFin, Glue42, Finsemble, or similar technologiesJob Expectations:This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorshipRelocation assistance is not available for this positionThis position offers a hybrid work schedulePosting Locations:300 S Brevard St.- Charlotte, North Carolina 28202Pay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position.
